This Privacy Policy explains how Duo Connector collects, uses, stores, and protects user data.
We comply with GDPR (EU), DPDP (India), LGPD (Brazil), and other applicable laws.
2. Information We Collect
– Account data: name, email, password (hashed).
– Integration data: HubSpot tokens, CRM IDs.
– WhatsApp metadata: contact names, timestamps, reply indicators.
– Technical data: browser version, anonymized logs.
We do not collect message content except when users manually sync messages to HubSpot.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Our legal basis includes (a) performance of a contract, (b) user consent for HubSpot connection,
and (c) legitimate interest in improving the Service.
4. Data Controller and Processors
FinestDevs Ltd. is the data controller. We use verified processors (AWS, Google Cloud) under
GDPR-compliant contracts. HubSpot acts as a separate data controller for CRM data.
5. How We Use Data
– To operate and improve Duo Connector.
– To sync WhatsApp metadata with HubSpot CRM.
– To provide authentication and support.
We never sell or rent your data.
6. HubSpot Data Transfers
When you connect HubSpot, Duo Connector transmits selected WhatsApp metadata (names,
timestamps, message summaries) to your HubSpot workspace after your authorization via
OAuth.
– We do not access HubSpot data beyond sync scope.
– You can revoke access anytime in HubSpot’s Connected Apps.
– All data transfers occur via HTTPS.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
We use Chrome local storage for login tokens and preferences only. No tracking cookies are
used.
8. User Consent
By connecting HubSpot, you consent to limited metadata transfers for synchronization. You
may withdraw consent at any time by logging out or disconnecting HubSpot.
9. Data Retention
Minimal logs are kept for 30–90 days for debugging and deleted automatically after.
10. International Transfers
Data may be stored on secure servers in the EU, UK, or US with appropriate safeguards and
Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may access, correct, or delete your data by emailing
privacy@duoconnector.com.
12. Children’s Privacy
Duo Connector is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years old.
13. Data Breach Policy
We will notify users and regulators within legal timeframes in case of a data breach.
14. Third-Party Links
We are not responsible for the privacy policies of WhatsApp, HubSpot, or other third-party
services.
15. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
